So I managed to pull out of my ass (not literally) the procurement of 2 VIP tickets to see Tenacious D at the House of Blues downtown last night. For those of you who aren't familiar with the D, they are the dynamic duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, who've penned such classic songs as "Fuck Her Gently" and "Kielbasa" (both great songs if you haven't heard them). We got early entry, free drinks, VIP room with our own bar, private bathrooms, plenty of comfy couches, etc. Much better than the regular folk waiting in the 2 block long line to get in outside, mwa ha ha!
Anyway, the show was really cool, we got to chat with Jack and Kyle afterwards and get some pics as well. They did a little VIP auction fund raiser after the show and some guy paid $5500 for dinner with Jack and Kyle. I tried to win but I maxed out at $3 grand. I'll post some links to the videos once I upload them. For now I'll leave you with me, Stacie and our man Jack.
