Cox sucks
So I finally have internet back, but for some reason my HD box in my room decided to stop giving me a signal, so even though the box is on and will tell me what's playing through the guide, no matter what channel you put on it's a gray screen. And in addition to that, when the DVR in the living room is on and running, the one in the bedroom goes out completely. And vice versa...of course, that was back when the bedroom box worked at all. Of course Cox couldnt figure out why, so a technician is coming tomorrow. At least for now I have internet. It's been a pain sitting in a coffeehouse for 2 hours just to download music! Pics and stories to come, I promise. For now, I have to get back to work since I just spent the entire work day at the Padres game with my CEO. Rough, I know. We won 2-1 against the Mets, but 2 Mets outfielders had quite a gruesome collision into each other while going for a pop fly. They clotheslined each other to the point of knocking one guy unconscious and eventually requiring him to be carted off in a stretcher. Not sure the extent of the damage, but I'm guessing it was pretty nasty to watch since the guys in the booth wouldn't show the replay on the stadium jumbotron. I'll try to catch it on Sportscenter tonight. You should too. It's gotta be in the highlight reel.

Adam, I apologize to hear the issues you had with Cox. I know this is an older post, but have you tried checking into DISH Network? As a DISH customer and employee I know that DISH has the lowest prices in the industry, and has a 99.99% signal reliability. You should really weigh your options and see for yourself how great DISH is.
