Day 5 continued

Back to downtown Albie, and through to the Bandera Ice Caves, a pretty cool set of underground ice caverns. Had to drive 45 minutes off the highway to get there, through some really desolate forest area. But a peaceful drive with the snow-capped trees, although damn scary ice and snow covered roads. I honestly dont think I wouldve made it to the caves without my all-wheel drive. Pretty cool. Back to the highway and stop at Gallup, NM and hit the hay at a Comfort Inn. I joined the "choice hotel" program, where I get a free nights stay for every 2 nights I pay, so thats cool. Time to watch some Sunday Night Football. GO BUFFALO!
