Day 5, New Mexico

West towards Albequerque. I didn't think there would be much here, but damn, the big A ROCKS! Way more to do than I planned. Beautiful, HUGE homes, partiularly near my next pit stop..Sandia Peak, a 10,378ft mountain just north of Albequerque, and home to the longest Tramway in the world. A 20 minute ride approximately 2.4 miles long, it takes you up to the top of the mountain where you can actually get off and stay, hang out, eat dinner, play in the tremendous amounts of snow, or even ski or snowboard your way down if you're insane. Hella cool. Awesome views at both the top and bottom, this was definitely the best scenery of the trip to date. A must see for anyone going through New Mexico. But you have to be driving, flying through New Mexico would make it very hard to take the Tram.
