Day 4...more? Yes.
Onward on I-40 Westward, I stopped to see 2 very stupid, yet surprisingly very popular attractions.
1) The leaning tower of Texas: Purposefully built on an angle, back in the Rt. 66 hayday this tower was meant to attract people from the highway and get them to visit local businesses. Now there's absolutely nothing here but abandoned buildings and this tower. Kind of sad, really.
2) The world's largest stand-alone cross. You can see how big it is by comparing the cross the the house and trees below it. It's much bigger than you think.
